An Event Planner that lays out the schedule for a 2022 Better World for Design Conference.

SETTING THE SCENE

The task at hand for this particular project was to design and organize content on the front and back of a 5.5×8.5 inch flyer that would share information, times and dates for the 2022 Better World for Design Conference.

THE CHALLENGES THAT WERE FACED

The challenge was to lay out all the information about the event in a way that is easy to read and understand while clean, simple and well designed. By utilizing tabs and typographic hierarchy, a simple to follow itinerary was created along the back of this program. Font weights and sizes especially came into play when creating hierarchy on this planner due to the fact only one typeface was used.

THE END RESULT

The event planner ended up looking professional and modern yet interesting and fun: perfect for a design conference flyer. The linear and geometric aspects on this program also add to the overall design. From this project I took away more about typographic hierarchy, tabs, grids and overall just being more strategic in the placing of every component in a project.
