An Editorial and Publications Minizine project pertaining to live music

AN INTRODUCTION

The project assignment tasked was to create a minizine on a topic of choice to show and practice skills in editorial and publication design. Utilizing skills in typography, composition and photography, 3 editorial spreads, as well as a front and back cover were produced.

COHESION ACROSS ALL COMPONENTS

The outcome of this project is an organized and professional feeling minizine, with spreads that feel chaotic enough to be for a topic as stimulating as live music, while maintaining a professional look. From this project I can take away composition and layout within Editorial Design skills, and strategic placing of components using built in tools like margins and grids.
